Dr. Gareth Phillips

Gareth Phillips has been serving as the national Foursquare leader for Jamaica for the last 6 years, and the president of L.I.F.E. Bible College for the last 10 years. In 2004, he was ordained in the Foursquare Church, and has been pastoring at the Cassia Park Foursquare Church since 2006. He also served as a district supervisor, and has experience in children’s, youth, and music ministries. He has been faculty at the Bible College for approximately 18 years. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Administration (Higher Education), M.A. in Education (Christian/Postsecondary Schools), B.S. in Business Administration (minor: Pastoral Care and Counseling), and a Diploma in Education (Business Education).

Dr. Brenda Hockenhull

Brenda Hockenhull was born in 1950 and grew up in the farmlands of northeastern Maine and attended the University of Maine for 3 years, then enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps. After serving for 6 years, she became a Christian. When her enlistment ended two years later, she transitioned to a Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans to learn more about God, and also joined the Marine Corps Reserve, from which she retired in 1991. After earning a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree, followed by a Doctor of Theology (Th.D.) degree (later upgraded to a Ph.D.) from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, she moved to southern California and began teaching at an independent Bible College. After joining the International Church of Foursquare Gospel, she began teaching at several church Bible Institutes. Some of her classes include Names of God, Greek, Hebrew, History of Israel, and Pentateuch. To learn more about the Holy Spirit and his working in believers’ lives, Brenda earned another M.Div. from King’s College and Seminary in Los Angeles, CA. Although now retired, she keeps active preaching at the Salvation Army Oceanside Corps, and teaching wherever needed.

Dr. Clayton Robinson

Dr. Clayton D. Robinson, is an educator, church planter, and Foursquare elder. He holds a D.Min. in Church Health (Fuller Theo. Sem.), Ph.D. in New Testament and Historical Theology (Fuller Theo. Sem.), M.Div. (Fuller Theo. Sem.), M.A. in Biblical Literature (Azusa Pacific U.), B.A. in Bible and Psychology (Vanguard U.). Clayton has taught since 1985 at Life Pacific University, Vanguard University, Asia Life University, Life Bible College Jamaica, and numerous other Bible colleges and ministry schools throughout the world.

Clayton also has 40+ years of effective pastoral ministry having planted multiple Foursquare churches, sent out 30+ church planters, led Foursquare programs on church planting and church health, and was a divisional & regional supervisor. Clayton is the Past President of the Foursquare Scholars Fellowship, a former member of the ICFG Board of Directors, and Southwest District Council, and currently serves on the Doctrine, Bylaws and Audit committees of the Board. Clayton has been married to Kim since 1977 and has 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

Reid Crow

Reverend Reid Crow has served in ministry for over twenty years. He is a licensed minister of the International Foursquare Gospel Church in the United States. He and his wife have been missionaries in South Africa, Papua New Guinea, and Jamaica. Prior to going into ministry, he worked as an accountant for nineteen years. Reid has an associate degree in Accounting from the International Junior College; a B.A. in Theology from LIFE Bible College East; and a M.A. in Strategic Leadership from LIFE Pacific College.

Daniel Simpson

Daniel Simpson is a lifelong ministry professional having served in local Foursquare churches, in educational institutions preparing leaders for ministry, in publishing environments creating resources that train and equip Christian leaders, and in a denominational setting administrating governance and oversight of churches. Dan holds an M.A. in biblical literature (Azusa Pacific University), a B.A. in biblical studies (Vanguard University), and has completed further coursework in ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. Dan has pastored in churches for more than 35 years, including lead pastor, worship, discipleship, small groups, and Christian education. He has taught at Life Bible College Los Angeles and Angelus Bible Institute. Dan worked for 13 years producing resources for pastors and church leaders at the Charles E. Fuller Institute of Evangelism and at Church Growth and Fuller Theological Seminary. Dan served 14 years at the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel as an executive administrator to the board of directors. Dan has been married to Dena since 1978 and has 3 children and 4 grandchildren. He enjoys photography, urban exploration, hiking, gardening, and long walks with his wife.

Louis J. Sparks

Louis J. Sparks, BA (1987), MA (1992) has served as lead pastor for The River, Tulare Foursquare Church since 2000. He loves serving Jesus and His Church and watching people become more like our Lord. He has been married to Deborah for over 38 years; they have three grown children and two grandsons.

Maizie English

Maizie English is the current Corporate Secretary for the Foursquare Church in Jamaica.  She along with her husband Larkland, has pastored the Ewarton Foursquare Church since 2006.  Maizie has been a senior lecturer in the field of Hospitality and Tourism Management and holds an MBA. She has completed the writing of the curriculum for the Occupational Associate Degree in Restaurant Operation for the Centre of Occupational Studies (COS) and was also involved in the review of the curriculum for the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) in 2003, 2007 and 2010 held in Barbados Maizie has also been integrally involved in the accreditation process for the Associate Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management and the reaccreditation held in January 2020 through the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ).

Kenneth Worley

Ken Worley Ken Worley & his wife, Lori, have been married for over 34 years, and also lead pastors for 30 of those years. They have 3 grown children, and one grandchild. Ken received his M.A. in Strategic Leadership in 2018 and teaches as an adjunct professor for his alma mater, Life Pacific University. Ken has mentored, raised up, trained, and deployed 6 lead pastors and several more licensed pastors throughout his ministry career. His greatest joy is helping people meet Jesus and then discover their Holy Spirit designed strengths and lead from them.
